1000 Islands International Rally & Tour

This fall, enjoy the open road, comfortable accommodations, great food and fun social times with like-minded enthusiasts on the
1000 Islands International Rally.
This fun, "budget-minded" event highlights the beauty of the Thousand Islands paradise found in the midst of the St. Lawrence Seaway at the Canada/US border.
The "1000 Islands International Rally" is designed to emulate the classic European rallies and particularly the world famous Monte Carlo Rallye, with cars being flagged off from multiple "Start Points" and converging on the Thousand Islands. Planned "Start Points" will be located in Port Perry and Ottawa, Ontario and Stowe, Vermont USA.
This year, our destination hotel will be on the Canadian side and we will announce the location soon. Each year, we alternate the finish point between the neighbouring communities of Alexandria Bay, NY and Landowne, Ontario on either side of the great St. Lawrence River, making this a truly International Event.
The Rally will be offered as a "Light Navigational Rally" suitable for novices and those looking for a fun driving experience, using an easy to follow route book with "tulip directions". Intermediate Level competitors will find the "Regularity Sections" and "Driving Skill Tests" challenging and fun. Both groups will use the same route books but the Intermediate Level will meet with "scored Regularity Sections" as well as "Driving Skill Tests".
Final Registration and "Check-In" will take place Saturday morning at each of the Start Locations.
The Saturday routes will see all of the cars descending on the destination hotel in time to freshen up and spend a little time socializing in the lounge prior to enjoying the company of fellow rallyists at the Welcoming Dinner,
The Rally will resume on Sunday morning at 9am and finish at noon.
An event-ending Luncheon and Awards Presentation will take place at 1:30pm Sunday afternoon to cap off a great weekend.,

Accommodations
We are currently busy arranging for the destination hotel and for special participant group rates and meal packages.
(TERMS: Rates will be based on double occupancy per room per night and will be Self – Pay. heck in time is normally at 3:00pm Check out time is normally 11:00am.
Each guest will be responsible for booking and guaranteeing his or her own reservation, securing it with his or her credit card.
