MGA
This MGA is a beautiful car belonging to one of my long-time customers. Mike has made a wonderful job of creating his vision of the ultimate MGA. The car is painted in a modern reflective paint that can look black or blue or purple with lots of metallic flecks in it. It just sparkles in the sunlight. The interior is custom upholstered and brings out the purple/blackberry tones in the paint. As you can see, the bumpers have been removed and a custom steel rollpan/air dam is mounted under the grille. The windscreen is cut down, adding to the racy lines. The tail lamps are bullets "frenched" into the rear fenders. Gauges are replacements with ivory dials. It wears chromed Dayton wires all around. Power is vis a BRITSPEED built 1800cc MGB 5-main "fast road" engine driving through a Ford Sierra 5-speed box. The car is both lovely and quick. This was a fun project to be involved in. Thanks Mike! for more pics, click here.

MGBA very thorough restoration left this MGB looking "marvelous" but it was perched high in the stratosphere on aftermarket springs. Its standard engine also left it in the "98 pound weekling" department. We lowered the suspension to improve handling and tackled the engine with some nice cylinder head work, a fast road camshaft and a new vernier camdrive setup. She now looks like, handles and goes like a sporting MGB.
MGCThis MGC required conversion from right- hand to left-hand controls to satisfy Costa Rican importation regulations, the country to which it was destined. This required replacement of the unique to MGC steering rack, movement of the pedal cluster, brake and clutch master cylinders, brake booster, steel dash and controls plus a myriad of downstream resultant detail issues.

Sprite 1275This engine was built using a tutrided crank, 0.020 over OMEGA pistons, fast-road camshaft, milled, improved, cc'd cylinder head, rebuilt twin 1 1/4 Skinner's Union carburetors with Taylor Wires and a load of loving care. It was mated to a lightened flywheel which has been modified to accept the Datsun clutch which will drive a Datsun 5-speed transmission when placed back in its host Bugeye.
